About us:
The Sisters of Notre Dame in England (also known as Sisters of Our Lady)
took root in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, in the Convent of Our Lady in 1933.
At the
request
of the Cardinal-Archbishop
of Westminster, the sisters accepted responsibility for the school and domestic
services at the priory. The sisters are currently located in Kettering. Today
the Convent of Our Lady is the site of the Hall Lane Language School, which
is
under the auspices
of a recognized language institute. The school primarily serves the Sisters
of Notre Dame from non-English-speaking countries.
