Looking Around
Where are you on your journey? As travelers pause at times to get their
bearings, they stop to notice what is around them and where they are
on the path. Take some time to consider the following:
-
What do you care deeply about?
-
How do you want to use the precious gift of your life?
-
What are some ways you could make a difference in the world?
-
What makes you feel alive?
-
Where have you found meaning in your life?
-
What are the deeper questions in your life?
-
Where do you find God leading you?
Your response to these questions can help you discover more about yourself
and your life’s purpose.

Everyone has a vocation. A vocation or call is a gift from God that allows
us to live fully who we are called to be. For some it is marriage,
for others it is the single life; some will become permanent deacons, while
still others
are called to the priesthood and/or religious life. Each state is graced
and calls us to put our gifts at the service of God and others. Each
of us must respond according to God's call for us.
