We deepen our relationship with God and become a transforming presence in the world through personal prayer, prayer with the community, and prayer with and for all God’s people—especially in the Eucharistic liturgy. Listening to God’s Word and being open to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit give us direction for our lives.

Times of solitude and space for quiet oneness with God are essential to remaining faithful to God’s call and to deepening our relationship with the One who loves us so dearly.

We respond to God’s goodness and provident care with gratitude, praise, love, and a willingness to sacrifice whatever God may ask of us. Attentive to the One who dwells in the deepest part of our being, we become aware of the Holy Spirit praying within us, as well as of the presence of God in all creation and in each moment of our lives. Uniting our prayers with those of our sisters in community, we can truly create a “powerhouse of prayer” and have an impact on our world.photo: Sisters ask the guidance of the Holy Spirit in prayer for the world.

"As our prayer and action become a single response of love, our life gradually achieves unity and peace."
