About us:

In 1992 sisters from the Patna province in India answered the Holy Father's call to send missionaries to Africa. They now minister in three locations in Tanzania (Didia, Arusha, and Njiro). In 2002 the first African women interested in joining our community were accepted into the pre-novitiate in Njiro. There are now a number of African sisters under temporary vows. As in India, the sisters see education in all forms (or on all levels) as the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.

Ministries include:

  • Catechesis
  • Education
  • Formation for religious life
  • Social work
  • Women’s empowerment
  • Vocation awareness programs
