To celebrate the lunar New Year, Notre Dame Kindergarten in Jakarta held an event inviting Barongsai (Chinese Lion) to school on February 27, 2015.

All children dressed in red which symbolizes a happy mood. The lion dance performance took place on the sports field for 30 minutes. It was watched by children – kindergarteners and also children of the elementary units of Notre Dame. Also the students from the Junior High joined us. Of course, the parents attended this show as well. The children were very happy to receive an envelope containing money from the lion. The lion dance performance today was more festive than in the past. Thank you Lion, see you in the coming year.
