Formation Conference Closing

[divider /]The Formation Conference officially ended on Sunday, December 15.  Father Jim Brady from the Montfort Fathers was the presider at our closing international celebration.  Songs and prayers in all of our congregational languages could be heard as we praised and thanked God for our time together.

Sister Mary Kristin gave the closing address later in the morning during which Sister thanked the participants for their whole-hearted participation in the Conference.  In her opening address Sister focused on the formees.  During the closing address the formator was the focus of her remarks.  The sisters were encouraged to be life-long learners, to take time to reflect and relax, and to be persons of intense prayer. The morning ended with a closing prayer that helped the participants to once more reflect on the graces of the past four weeks.  In closing, the participants graciously expressed their appreciation to the General Administration, the translators, and all who helped to make their experience in Rome blessed.  All continued in a spirit of gratitude at a special dinner.
