Monday, February 8, 2016, marked the beginning of this year’s English language course in the motherhouse in Rome for 9 Sisters of Notre Dame from Brazil, Indonesia, and South Korea.

The mornings are dedicated to lessons offered to the whole group by Sister Maria Josefa Cramer from Germany, in the afternoons Sister Marie Emma Kim assists the students to deepen their knowledge and broaden their skills individually using several kits of reading cards as well as an interactive computer program.

The results of their studies are put into practice during table conversations and other encounters with community members of the motherhouse. The weekends offer abundant opportunities to explore the treasures of the center of the Church and the beauty of Rome and its surroundings.
