Asia-Oceana Immersion Experience, Bangalore, India
February 5, 2015
The great understanding of ‘Unity in Diversity’ has come to surety when we welcomed our Sisters from Korea and Indonesia for the Asia- Oceana Immersion program on 24th January 2015.
First of all, we are an International Congregation gives us an immense pleasure. We were delighted to welcome our Sisters, Sister Marie Jinie, Sister Marie Julie, and Sister Marie Faustina from South Korea and Sister Maria Yulita and Sister Maria Etha from Indonesia.
The Sisters stayed a few days in the Provincial House and also visited the nearby communities. They were also given a glimpse of ashram experience and a meditation center called Pyramid Temple. Mysore was one of their wonder places to visit as there is an ancient History behind.
We were able to connect our Inter-nationality and inter-connectedness through our ways of living, praying, eating and chatting together. The Sisters were very simple, prayerful, humble and loving. They enjoyed every bit of their stay with us. And on 31st January we bid good bye, which was very hard for us and for them, yet they had to move on. The memories of these past days with our Sisters will remain with us as an in erasable art in our hearts.
