Knitting Caps, Germany

This is an activity of Sr. M. Birgit Westermann in the Vechta convent. Together with a group of women in the parish and other sisters from Marienhain, she is coordinating the knitting of caps for Massai children in Tanzania, Africa.

Some German students are on the way to Tanzania, and they will bring some caps for the children. Sister Birgit, the women and sisters are so busy knitting caps that Sr. Almuth will have enough for the Massai-children, when she will go to Tanzania in October 2015.
