Inauguration of a New Auditorium in Syokimau, Kenya

After years of careful saving plus generous donations from parents and donors, Notre Dame School in Syokimau, Kenya, a suburb of Nairobi had its official inauguration of a new auditorium complete with an ample stage and seating for more than 500 people.

The auditorium took about two years to complete.  The Notre Dame School is a Montessori nursery school with children ages 3 to 6 plus a primary school for children ages 6 to 9 years.

The highlight of the celebration was the performances of the 380 children in the school.  Traditional and classical dances, songs, elocution pieces, poems and skits were performed.   Parents, guests and neighbors were amazed at what the children could do!
