Induction ceremony for the candidates, PNG

The Sisters of Notre Dame of the Papua New Guinea Delegation are happy to introduce seven new candidates to the congregation! As Sisters of Notre Dame entered the induction ceremony for the candidates, they processed in song, carrying cake, fruit and the first supplies the candidates would need.

Rose Peter (Jiwaka Province, Hagen Diocese): “All of my family members are alive and I’m happy to be with the Sisters of Notre Dame and spread the Gospel of God.”

Everlyn James (Wabag, Enga Province)

Nancy Gerry (Southern Highlands province): “It is hard for me to express in words my happiness about joining the Sisters of Notre Dame.”

Margaret Nakii (Wabag, Enga)

Esther Joel (Wabag, Enga)

Betty Boisen (East Sepik Province): “I am always interested in hearing more about God, so maybe it’s God’s call for me to be here with the Sisters of Notre Dame.”

Jennifer Petrus (Wabag, Enga): “I am very happy to be here.”
