On April 6th, the Julie Billiart Specialties and Diagnosis Center in Não Me Toque sponsored a Health Care Fair. The aim was to improve the quality of life of the local population. Various activities focused on health care itself as well as the need to adopt habits for healthy living.

Throughout the morning, both the Sisters and professionals from the Specialties Center were available to share their knowledge with the visitors through 30 different free workshops and services. These included areas such as dentistry, psychology, nutrition, physiotherapy, nursing, aesthetics, ozone therapy, and ergonomics. They also offered guidance on topics such as dengue fever, vaccination, and others.

At the conclusion of the fair, Sister Maria Margarete Cerutti, director of the Notre Dame Health Care Network, expressed her gratitude to each volunteer. She emphasized that the Health Care Fair was the result of a joint effort of many people. “This event is the result of the hard work of many hands. We could not carry it out without the dedication of each professional who believes in this program. Our deep gratitude to all our collaborators, participating institutions, supporters, members of the press, and everyone involved in the planning and execution of our Fair.”
