School Pastoral Ministry and the Easter Experience

2024 marks the 60^th Anniversary of the Fraternity Campaign in Brazil, a Lenten tradition since 1964. Embracing this year’s theme for the campaign – “Fraternity and Social Friendship” – the school pastoral team of Our Lady Aparecida Province has embarked on a mission to provide transformative experiences for ND educators, students, and families. The slogan “Hands that Care, Experiences that Transform” aimed to encourage profound conversion and tangible actions.

Through various projects and activities, particularly Easter celebrations, the school pastoral team has facilitated the study and deepening of the Fraternity Campaign 2024 motto: “You are all brothers and sisters” (Mt 23:8).

With meticulous preparation, reflection, and prayer on the significance of the Easter Triduum, our ND Schools and SND communities have engaged in moments of silence and encounter with Jesus in His complete surrender and love.

Utilizing symbolic gestures such as foot washing, bread sharing, and contemplating the Cross, participants have been led to a profound understanding of the Paschal Mystery, inviting them to celebrate Easter with renewed joy and faith.
