Visit by Cardinal João Braz de Aviz

Cardinal João Braz de Aviz, prefect of the Vatican Congregation for Religious, addressed the participants of the Formation Conference on the afternoon of November 15.  The Cardinal emphasized three aspects of Religious Life – Religious Life an expression of the Trinity, Community – living in Communion, and Eucharist as the center of our life. The Cardinal presided at the Opening Liturgy during which our international community took an active part.  Following the evening meal, the Cardinal spoke a few words to the participants and members of the Motherhouse community.  He appreciated his time with us and noted the sisterly spirit among us.  He promised his prayers and support for our continued work during the Conference.
