The parents of the first-year Juniors were invited to the provincial house in Patna for a one-day seminar and gathering on December 2, 2023. The program commenced with a short prayer service prepared by the juniors. They welcomed the parents with a peppy song and pinned corsages on them.

After a while, the parents introduced themselves to the sisters.

Sr. Mary Ruby shared with them the challenges of religious life.  Sister Mary Prasanna spoke about the profiles and culture of a sister of Notre Dame.

A PowerPoint prepared by Sr. Mary Anima and presented by Sr. Mary Shanta gave the parents a glimpse of our involvement and ministry in different parts of India.

At the end of the meeting, the parents expressed their gratitude to the sisters for organizing this gathering through which they gained more understanding of the Notre Dame lifestyle. Sr. Mary Prasanna proposed the vote of thanks. As a token of our love and gratitude, Sr. Mary Ruby gifted each parent with a holy rosary and a picture of the Holy Family. Though it was only a short gathering, it has enabled us and the parents to establish a relationship with one another. The parents promised their support in fostering a vocation to religious life.
