Perpetual Profession of Sister Giulliane Maria, Canoas, Brazil

Sister Giulliane Maria of the province of Our Lady Aparecida made her perpetual profession on January 19, 2014, at St. Luiz Gonzaga parish church in Canoas. Pronouncing her vows, she gave her definitive “yes” to God. It was a very significant day full of great joy for all the Sisters of the province. Bishop Agenor Girardi presided at the Mass, and the parish priest, Father Joseph Mohr Hermeto, concelebrated. In his homily Bishop Agenor had encouraging words for Sister Giulliane Maria and the other Sisters who had come to celebrate this generous gift with gratitude.

The celebration concluded with a reception in the dining room of the Provincial House. Some Sisters were unable to come and join the ceremony because they live far away, but all were united in the same joy and prayer.

May God lead Sister Giulliane Maria in His ways to live faithfully the vows she professed.
